Sure I can reconnect within a minute but now im back at square 1 lost 1 hour. I’ve twice had Erimans Pure cleaned out (Takes awhile) only to have a random Disconnect happen. I can play the old Diablo 2 with ZERO disconnects and finish the game without having to replay areas like I do in diablo 4. Once updated you may need to launch the game again using the launcher before you will be able to launch it using D2R. Please make a real offline mode for solo play. You may from time to time need to launch the game using the launcher or you will get a connection error and only be able to play offline. You can also load the game in Windowed Mode using the following parameter in the shortcut properties by editing the target path.Įxample:"E:\Diablo II Resurrected\D2R.exe" -w You can rename the shortcut if you like, just right click the shortcut and select rename. That's it!Now you can load right to the game. You should now have a new shortcut on your desktop called "D2R.exe - Shortcut".
Locate your Diablo II Resurrected Directory.Mine is located in E:\Diablo II Resurrected\ but you may have yours installed on the C:\ drive or elsewhere.įind the file named D2R.exe and right click the file and select Send to > Desktop (Create shortcut)
A friend of mine was complaining about the the launcher process just to launch D2R, so I told him how to bypass it and thought maybe some of you would find it useful as well.
